Ripping people off

I signed a 24 month contract and MTN keeps billing me for 29 months without notifying me. Once I notified them they change my account to a pre paid account after 2 attempts of physically going to MTN. Then only to get told that they cannot refund my money and they can only add it as air time? I dont need R 1000.00 of air time.

On another contract I have they advise me that I am charged almost R 100.00 for 2 Supposedly free Voicemail retrieval calls. No one can explain to me how a "free call" can be charged and at an alarming rate as well.
