My daughter joined Virgin Active on the 30th of November - because of the promation runnung that month. Which was a free Branded (I think it was Adidas) gym bag and free card fee. They accidently included the card fee when the processed the payment from the Credit Card. and when signing the receipt - I noticed this. The consultant promised me another Adidas bag - however they did not have stock. I told him that we are going away in December so we will get them in Jan. My daughter looked for him when we sent back to gym after the school holidays and said she could not find him. Today I asked the receptionist and I explained what had happened. She told me out straight that the promotional items are usually not delivered and basic I should just forget about it - she mentioned that she would tell the manager - but they can't do anything about it anyway. I would like to cancel my subscription and get my money back. After writing this report I will check my consumer rights as I would like a full refund.
