Rage Expo takes over Gym Showers

A year ago I complained because the Virgin Active branch at Northgate was opened up for the all-night gamers from the Rage Gaming Expo. At the time I explained to the manager that the gamers (men mostly) take over the showers the morning after the gaming event. These men do not fit the profile of people who will become members of a Gym and they only visit the Gym to take a shower after their all-night gaming event.By 7am in the morning when the regular members wants to start to use the showers after their training sessions they have to queue and hope that there is still hot water left. This year is a repeat event and when I saw the queue of Gamers entering the Gym at 6 a.m. this morning I turned around and went home without my regular training session. Last year Virgin Active could be forgiven because they did not anticipate and made a mistake. This year they made the arrangement with prior knowledge and experience and in spite of the fact that, because of their upgrade of the air conditioner and hot-water system, the Gym's capacity is reduced. I would have expected them to at least distribute an email to their regular members about their arrangement.
