Acc Paid up in 2002 Company collectin

I had a gym membership which ws paid up, in Nov 2006 I reveiced a letter from a Co. called JM Attorneys stating that I had a balance of R1087.00 oweing, at that time I had settled the account however like any other normal person I had not kept record of it. Some time along the line I managed to find my deposit slip's where I made 3 payments in 2002 to fully settle and close this account of which my reference # 1316001214 appeared on all deposit slips, telephonic confirmation received account settled and closed. Now 12 years later I receive a letter from the same Company stating that I owe them R1452.70 for an outstanding account, I was livered & I said to the lady who keeps proof of payments for 12 years?? Anyway I manged to go through my records & found all records of payments. I wish to expose JM Meiring for fraudelently collecting monies that have already been paid to them, 12 years ago. Is this the way a Company remains opened for continuously collecting monies already paid? How many people out there has this happened to? I know I paid them twice already but unfortunately I had not kept records of my 1st payment to them & then had to make manual deposits. This is a total rip off.
