No Service, No feedback, No Gym

Planet Fitness Craighall was closed in May this year for a 4 month renovation during which they arranged reciprocity at Rosebank and another club both of which is impossible to get to in a day from where I live. So I was patient and waited until I received an sms saying sorry the gym will now only open in November 2013. During this time there has been nothing posted on their website regarding opening times, I emailed their contact us page twice and never got a reply.

So over this entire period I am paying over R500.00 per month for facilities I cannot use, if I was able to go to Rosebank for this period I would incur additional petrol costs which again as extra out of my pocket and yet I cannot get out of this contract. I have now logged this with the consumer protection act commision to see what they have to say about this.
