Failure to Close Account POST Payments Made

On 6 June 2011 i had placed in a request on behalf of my wife to cancel an existing contract with Planet fitness, i was advised that the cancellation fee was too high at the time and that the account would be frozen for a period of 6months, whilst the cancellation was arranged. during the 6month period the lady responsible had left the organization, i attempted to engage with Johan van Zyl (her replacement) without success. I then had a discussion on the 8 March 2012 with Palesa @ 10:05AM (call recorded under REF177776) and was advised that i had a small arrears amount and also it WAS POSSIBLE to cancel by going to the Branch and paying a cancellation fee of R5325.80, i Paid the fee at the Branch and was assured "all is in order" i have now been contacted by a DEBT Collection Agency SAYA stating that this account is in arrears. I am frustrated as by the statement retrieved from Planet Fitness the BRANCH Personal of ROSEBANK failed to process this correctly. I Emailed PLANETFIT via their website LAST Wednesday 11 September 2013 without response still.
