When I joined the gym in January of 2013 I was informed by the Sales Consultant what the cancelation fee is. He informed me that it will be 10% of the outstanding fee of the contract. now I have to cancel my 3 year contract because my work is relocating me to Hoedspruit and they want 40% of the outstanding balance. I can't understand why they would want 40% of an amount that their facilities will not be used by me. it is plain of loyal peoples money. They are very clever in not stipulating on the signed contract the cancelation fee, only on a paper pad in their offices while explaining it to you and then they through it away. so you never have any proof of the verbal conversation with the sales consultant. I can not believe what people will do and say just to make sure they get their commission for the sale. pathetic I tell you.
