CANCELATION OF MEMBERSHIP CONTRACT

My 3 year gym membership contract is coming to an end. I have sent planet fitness plattekloof several emails regarding the cancelation but they have yet failed to contact me. I am afraid that my contract would automatically be renewed for another 3 years (WHICH IS ILLEGAL btw)! This has happended to several of my friends. During the 2.5 years planet fittness has failed me tremendously! The sales consultant "deon" if I remember correctly promised me the heaven and the earth e.g. I'll get a personal trainer for the 1st month, undergo a fitness test every 3 months, can cancel at anytime because I am a student, ect. However, he just showed me to the cardio section and I never seen or heard from him again. They are only intersted in deducting their fees every month and double deduct in December. I'll never recommend your services to anyone. Can someone please contact me regarding my cancelation and I would prefer it to be done in writing as I don't trust a verbal agreement!
