No communication or refund of money just 'taken'

After being harassed daily for 2 weeks in April by consultants, my twin boys were turning 18 in May, to come and register them for their own membership "before the end of April to get May FREE" I go in on 28 April. We start the paper work with Wally and he informs me that he is unable to do the process on the computer due to the boys ID numbers having been logged in incorrectly initially. Wally also informed me that he cannot load the debit orders onto my credit card as they are no longer allowed to take the card details for security reasons. He then asked me to pay R865.00 per child activation fee - nobody said I would need to pay this,
After paying the 2 sets of R865.00 the cards are not activated.

On 2 May Virgin active withdraws R509.00 PLUS R868.00 out of my current account. I call and am told that the money would be refunded within 7 working days, Again on 1 June R509.00 is taken. 7 Days have come and gone. Virgin Active has bungled this whole membership and a refund of R5346.00 has been asked for but ZERO interest or reply forthcoming. Email was sent on 13 June and NO RESPONSE!!! Take the money, stuff the client attitude!!!
