Gym too stuffy for vigorous exercise

I've attended the Randburg Virgin Active frequently for years, and since there was a problem with the air conditioning towards the end of last year, the quality of air in the gym has been unbearable. I have been told that there is nothing wrong with the aircon any more, but today the gym was so stuffy and humid that I was unable to exercise at my peak and nearly fainted from a lack of oxygen.

I can only assume that if the aircon has been repaired, it is not being run at full capacity, which is unacceptable for the fees we pay. I have emailed the manager about this but have had no response.

Could you please explain why the air quality has not improved to its old standard since the aircon was supposedly repaired?
