Absoloute Rip off after paying for so many months

I took out a gym contract with the Fitness Company 7 months ago. Both gym instructors and receptionist knew on opening it that I have had back problems. After using my contract for a month I was told by my gp I can no longer gym due to medical problems.

I continued to pay for 6 months as on opening the account I was told that I will pay R105 for every month owed to the gym if I cancelled.

After attempting to cancel today I was told that i have to pay R105 for ever month i was with the gym. You are ripping me off as you have scored R1140 as it is with me not even using your facilities. I furthermore now must pay R735 to cancel therefore costing me R1875 rand for not even using you. I could saved that money!!! Where is the logic back billing clients for months they already paid??? You then make the remark that clients make stories to get out of contracts, are you saying I'm a? You have no manners when It comes to dealing with clients and quite frankly I'd never recommend you to anyone after today!!!
