SHOCKING SERVICE FROM ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT

I am truly shocked and disappointed with the way Truworths have dealt with my account. I have always handled my account payments timeously and never short. When I went on maternity leave I called the accounts department to arrange for a lower installment while I was on maternity leave. I paid installments as per the agreement but continued to receive sms's to say my account was in arrears. I called again, and was told to just ignore the sms, and was then only told that I had six months to get my account back up to date. Shortly after that I got a letter stating that I was being handed over to collectors. I am a single mother and made these arrangements specifically for the purpose that I wouldn't land up in this situation! Its stressful enough being paid less than half your salary and that with a new mouth to feed! Needless to say Truworths has not stopped harrassing me this entire time and I cannot wait to pay off my account and close it! You could learn a thing or two from foschini that gave me a months grace of not paying at all and lowered my installments.
