Complaint regarding a Sealy bed purchased from Dial a Bed. We bought a bed from dial a bed Meadowdale at the end of April 2010 where two months later (June 2010) the mattress was already losing its shape and "caving in" if I can call it that. There after we were advised by the store that the best option would be to pay an additional amount in and upgrade the bed to a Sealy - no turn where we were advised that this mattress would be sufficient and that we would not experience any problems with this mattress.
Now the Sealy no turn mattress is also losing shape and "caving in". Sealy came out and checked the mattress and the following day advised me that I would now need to pay R2346.10 and the mattress would once again be exchanged.
We originally paid approx R5500.00 for the first bed we bought which only lasted two months.
We then paid in an additional R1500 or so making it R7000.00 for the second mattress.
I now once again have to pay in to resolve this problem bringing the total of our bed now to R9346.10.
Upon Request Dial a bed have advised that I cannot receive a refund and no solution has been offered.
