Insurance cancellation

We have or rather had insurance with Edcon for our 4 cellphones which were purchsed with them. On trying to claim for one of the phones, we were informed that we have no insurance. The lady at the store said that when Edcon was changing all old accounts to the new ones, they didnt recapture the insurances. looking at the statements, the insurance was cancelled in March, because as of April, the statments do not reflect the Insurance premeums. this morning alone, i have spoken to a few call center agents who pass the buck anf cannot assist in the regard, naely: Sibongile Sishuba, who reffered me back to the store and told me that they cancelled the insurance due to the age factor (without having looked @ the account details as she didnt get any informatio from me) Dumisile, who made us hold and hung up on me. Abrahm who hung up withou assisting. Bongi Buthelezi from their insurance claims department who reffered me back to the head office. Nosisi who said i should call the insurance office and admitted its Edcons fault that they didnt capture the insurance on the new account. Please can someone assist we we will be contacting the Insurance ombadsmen soon. Linda 11:35 16 Jan 2013.
