I am totally disgusted by the returns/exchange policy of The Foschini Group, which I was assured by the sales person at Totalsports is the policy.

I had purchased a tracksuit pants (that of a leading sports brand) approximately a month ago on my account at Totalsports in the Golden Acre. I have worn the pants 3 - 4 times only to discover that it had torn along the back seem. I went to Kenilworth Centre on Sunday to do some shopping and though that I would take the pants back considering that all Totalsports fall within the ambit of TFG. I was then told that as i don't have the slip, I am only able to exchange the pants at the store at which i bought it. This makes no sense, im sure in this technological age we live in, a receipt can be reprinted at any store, I even still had the tags of the pants. Now what if i had bought the pants on holiday in PE (for example) and the pants broke when I was back home in CTP, would I have to travel back to PE to sort this out? Seriously?

This is unacceptable
