Unfairly Blacklisted

On 19 April 2010 I closed my account at Foshini Lewis Branch and requested that my cellphone insurance at Vericell be cancelled. I was attended by an employee named Hester who assured me that the account was closed and the insurance cancelled. In May and June 2010 I received bills from Foshini stating that I owe them money. I went back to the store and was attended to by Hester. She established that the reason for the account was that the cellphone insurance was never cancelled. She called the insurance company and they promised to clear the account as I did request for the insurance to be cancelled in April. Hester then told me I had to pay Foshini Group a further R30, 00 for what she called administration fees in order to clear the account which I did. In January this year I found out that I have been Blacklisted by Foshini. I went back to the branch on 31 January 2013 for assistance but have been sent from pillar to post. I was told by Foshini Group to call Vericred Collections. Vericred Collections requested a letter from the retailer to state that the account has been cleared. Foshini however has been unwilling to supply me with such a letter.
