Lying about shoe sizes available to customers

Friday afternoon 12 april 2013, I went to buy a pair of shoes from Foshini Cresta. I fitted the number 6 boots and it was too big so I asked for a number 5. Guys went to the back and came back immediately telling me they do not have a number 5 boot. I walked around for a few minutes and decided that I will take the 6 instead. I went to a lady and asked for a number 6. she gave my order to another man, I literally waited 10 minutes just standing there not knowing if they have shoes or not. The admin supervisor came by and I told her about my predicament. Eventually she went to the back and asked the people there who is assisting me. Now 3 people were looking for a pair of 6 shoes. all of a sudden this other lady appeared with a box of shoes and adviced me that they unfortuately only have size 5's and no 6's. This is a nonsense story as firstly the fist man to me and secondly they had a size 6 on the shelf so how can they NOT have 6's? Well, I demand better service - and I also think that this was. Every other black person in that store was helped except me. I buy from foshini often, but this is really not making me feel like a valued customer.
