I purchase some items from house and home. They were delivered on 29 March. One of the items was a wet and dry vacuum cleaner. My previous vacuum cleaner was also called a wet and dry and it could shampoo and clean carpets. The one I purchased cant do that and I only realized on 16 April when I finally opened the box and tried to use it. When I called H&H and asked if I could please exchange it for a different one because I am not happy with my purchase, I was told that they cant help me because I should have called within 7days. This was after being on hold for more than 5minutes. My issue is there is nothing on my contract that states this. Am I now supposed to be stuck with something that I am not happy with and continue paying for it? Shoot me for assuming that the vacuum cleaner could do what I wanted.
