Poor customer service linked to open to buy credit

On the 12th of April 2013 I entered the Edgars Canal Walk store at about 19:00 and stood in a long queue to accept the offer Edgars sms'd me to state they want to increase my credit limit.

My credit limited was increased with my consent and according to the statement issued I could now purchase for R3000 more, however due to the fact that I was in pain, I advised my wife let's go home and come back tomorrow. The pain was a direct result of me having staples in my abdomen from an operation done on the 2nd of April.

On the 13th April 2013 we went back to the store walked around for more than an hour just to find items we liked and fitted on, my wife had to assist me in fitting on these clothes, let's bare in mind I still have my staples in me, only to arrive at the till, the cashier then cashes up everything and tells me I have exceeded my limit, because now its only R1100. She could not explain to me why, pure incompetence if you ask me, I then spoke to the manager who had absolutely no compassion for the situation, she explained that the open to buy changes over night, but could also not give me the exact criteria as to why.
