CREDIT LIMIT INCREASED WITHOUT APPROVAL

I am so disgusted with Edgars and their credit limits!!

I have been requesting for more than a year that your staff members stop asking me if I would like to increase my credit limit. I believe that this policy of yours is so irresponsible as I have been told you increase it to try and boost sales. You however have a complete disregard for your customers that might end in financial difficulties due to high credit limits, and not to mention if my card falls into the wrong hands! Anyone can buy using my card as none of your cashiers have ever checked the signature.

I visited the Menlyn branch on 9 Aug and was again asked to increase my limit and again said NO only to receive an email today from Edcon that my limit was in fact increased!! I drew a line through the till slip and wrote no increase and signed it yet your cashier went ahead and increased it without my approval or knowledge.

I want this sorted out ASAP and I want your cashiers to stop asking me if I would like to increase my limit!!!
