EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE

I have been supporting Edgars for many years and have owned an account since about 2008. I have never felt the way i did in a store, more so Edgars, till yesterday, 25th September 2013.

It was my sisters birthday and decided to go to Edgars in Cavendish Square, Claremont. I planned on buying two jewellery items to the value of about R2500. The first would be for my sister and the second would be a gift for my wife whose birthday is on the 3rd October.

Fisrtly i waited around for 10 min after which no assistant showed up. The guy right next to the jewellery counter advised he only works for Sunglass Hut. I then noticed a young lady who i approached as i thought she worked for Edgars & asked if she could assist me. She was very nice and said that she cannot as she works for Forever New but will call someone to assist.

Another 5-10 min passed an no assistant still. I had my wife with as well as my almost 3 month old baby so just wanted it to be a walk in, purchase what i needed and walk out.

I now asked the lady from Forever new to direct me to the Manager which she did. Upon coming to the counter i was advised the Manager has gone home already.

I decided to rather walk out!
