I have been attempting to change my bank account details so that my debit orders are timeously made both through the Brooklyn branch as well as though the call centre. Upon my visit to the branch, I was informed that since they don't have the necessary forms, it is my duty to go from one branch to another hoping that one of them will have the documentation required. I chose to rather contact the call centre. After sending off my details and forms in my possession, I received an email from an administrator stating that my bank details have been changed and my debit orders will be extracted accordingly. I am now receiving sms's stating that I have payments overdue. Calling the contact centre is off no help and I keep getting the run around! Thus, due to the incompetence of the Edgars staff and the ridiculous treatment I have received, I have decided to close my account and Edgars will see no more business from me! The lack of care shown is truly disturbing!!
