My name is Nathaniel Mogane, raising a 4 year complaint with geen & richards, market street in johannesburg. My mother who was 4 years younger at the time bought a dinning room suite in 2008 june, finished instalments by 2010. In the first 6 months, the chairs showed substandard quality-all of them. Springs are protruding from underneath the seat, seat feels like a deep hole, chairs are generally loose, are a health and safety hazard esp for my parents and their friends. Also it is unsafe for her grandchildren who generally play around and crawl under these chairs. She has since went back and forth with geen & richards to "repair" them. It seems that they just complete a "repaired" note because she has never been satisfied about the work. The problem still persists. Does their warranty guarantees not hold water? Their "distinctivece" promise reads- feel at home with our distinctive style and service.they claim to have been filfulling for over 100 years. blasphemy-false advertising. It means they have been getting away with much for a century. "new" chairs where delivered yesterday-too many faults. Cant write more. Awaiting geen &richard response-permanent solution.
