The next time you purchase something from Clicks (i won't) have a look at the purchase policy at the back of the payslip. The client can return purchased goods on two conditions:

1) The first possibility is if he returns it UNOPENED in its ORIGINAL PACKAGING within 60 days with the payslip.
2) The second type of return allows for a 12 month warrantee on Electrical and High Tech equipment. You will note that this return does NOT mention the ORIGINAL PACKAGING to be returned as well.

I purchased a Russell Hobbs coffee machine R699 on the 5th September 2012. It broke recently and I wanted to return it. The manager then informed me, with a smile, that Clicks only accepts WARRANTEE returns if it is in the original packaging as mentioned in the small print on the back of the payslip. After we had our differences she referred me to their "customer services" helpline. Me Faheez then confirmed the managers statement that WARRENTEE returns need to be in its ORRIGINAL PACKAGING. I pointed to her that it is not what is stated on the back of the payslip. She then referred me back to the store manager. The store manager then referred me back to the customer helpline...???
