Pick 'n Pay
Different procedures in different branches?

Shops, Products, Services

Yesterday I went to Pick n Pay at The Link in Nonqubela, wanting to return a kettle I had bought at the Pick n Pay in Promenade on Thursday, 28 March 2013. I asked the security guard where is the customer service desk was as I'm don't usually shop at that branch.

The security guard told me that I could not make returns because the management was off duty so I must come some other day. I insisted I needed to see someone that works for the company not him, so he referred me to someone.

Immediately that person told me that they do not do exchanges for electric appliances that were purchased at other branches. I insisted to see someone else, I then spoke to a lady who tried to assist me but couldn't, as there was no stock of that particular kettle.

What I also noticed is that none of them were wearing name badges thus I am unable to name and shame them.

I then went to the Pick n Pay in Promenade and their staff where all wearing name badges and more than willing to help.

My question is should the service between these two stores differ in anyway?

Regards,

Mr T. Mack
