Shocked at the terrible service

Earlier today (in the morning) the convenience of the online site allowed me to find the shoe I have been looking for an also in my size. I call the store in V&A and was advised that they potentially have 17 pairs in that size but I need to be aware that the system only updates weekly, fine I fully understand that. So i take the drive which is a bit of a distance but as I really needed the shoe I drove. At the Woolworths store the manager happened to be working close to the area where I find a size 8 and 6 absolutely no size 4 on the floor but they might have in the stock room which closes at 4pm. How disgusted I was as the convenience of a store trading until 9pm is that one can walk in to the so called NUMBER 1 STORE WOOLWORTHS and if something is in the stock room it should be accessible until 9pm as this is the trading hours of said store. The manager then tells me he will call Canal Walk branch only to return and inform me that they may have but they would need to check in the stock room which also closes at 4pm. The only 2 malls in Cape Town where Woolies trade until 9pm which is convenient for me to shop as I am unable to do this during working hours.
