Scan right guarantee

On the 27th of march I went to buy pampers nappies. I could not find the right size so I enlisted the help of Albert who also could not find them. He convinced me to buy cuddlers nappies which were on special offer at R99.99 per pack. I was charged R149, 99 .I went back to Albert who took me to the till supervisor to rectify the problem. The supervisor gave me R50 back as I had been overcharged. I asked her about the scan right guarantee and was rudely told it does not always work and there was no way she was going to give me nappies for free. What I want to know is when does the scan right guarantee work and for who. The next day I bought bread rolls marked R5, 99 only to be charged R19, 99. I querried this to supervisor Refiloe who told me it was not their fault that the item had two prices and she reffered me to the bakery department to lodge my complaint. I realised I was wasting my time as no solution was in sight and I walked out. The supervisors customer care skills are appalling
