Discount is not actually discount

I would just like to let everyone know that hirsch's does not provide the "discounts" as they advertise. The prices in store are inflated, creating the illusion that discount is obtained. A good example is a defy microwave that was sold at a certain price, a week or two prior to their 40th aniversary sale, when i entered the store i was shocked to see that the price of the microwave increased, i was told not to worry as a 20% discount would be given, after the discount the price worked out to exactly the price it was before. The same went for a dishwasher i was looking at. Then the manager has the cheek to to me by telling me that the stock was being sold at R400 below cost. Hirsh's will never see me again! Id rather go to Makro
