Sales person lying to Custome

I work for a lodge and is furnishing one of our guesthouses where we are expecting foreigners booking in on Tuesday 26 March 2013. I ordered and paid for a lounge set with the confirmation from the sales person at Furniture City Kolonnade that I can collect the furniture from their Boksburg warehouse. After numerous calls and lodging a complaint withthe customer service I was told that regardless of what the employee comitted to I cannot collect the goods. When I asked to speak to the store manager I was told that he was on the loo! When I called again to speak to the manager I was told that he was in Pick n Pay. This is the worst level of customer service and professionalism I have ever experienced in my 15 years as a buyer for the lodge. The company is simpy blaming the employee.
