WHAT A NIGHTMARE TO BUY A DSTV WALKA

On Sat 23/3/2012 I went to the Greenstone mall hub to get a DSTV walka. The lady at the counter told me that she wants to see my TV license. I then advised her that as from 2011 they dont issue Cards any more. She then bluntly refused to sell me the Walka. I was really dumbstuck. I then told her phone the TV license dept and give them my ID number, they will confirm my TV license. I got a response of "we cant phone out" I then on my cell phone phoned, after holding for a while (this is SABC we are talking about) the call center guy explained to her the same thing abt calling an 0800 number to get verification on my license status, she then gets into a heated debate with the call center guy and she demands a TVLIC card after the guy told her that they dont issue them any more. I really lost it and told her to call her manager. After calling the manager then all of a sudden she could phone and get verification on my TVLIC status. How many customers has she not showed away? I'm really shocked with this service. Please dont sell products that you have no idea on how to sell it. My blood really boiled for your staff there. I will think twice to send my friends there.
