How slow can you go?

Eish! Where do I start? Popped into to Makro, Centurion to buy a DSTV Walka 7. I was ready with my ID, TV License and Makro Card. From when I told the sales person: "Yes, I will take one" took almost 45 minutes to validate my TV license, pay for the product and obtain it from the store. If it takes this long to buy a Walka, I shake to think how long one of those huge flat screens will take. Three days!? Parched from this long wait, I tried to purchase a colddrink from one of the vending machines at the exit. All of them out of order. Four or five vending machines, not one working. Not one!? Arrived at home, pulled the Walka out of the box. A white one. Did I dream when I heard the DSTV Mobile expert say: "Sir, will you accept a black one, as we are out of stock on white" and I responded: "Black please. I prefer that anyway." Eish!
