Won't replace broken toy

I went to Baby City in Faerie Glen on 18 March and purchased nearly R2000 of goods, one of which a toy that stopped working later the same day. I replaced the batteries and it worked for a short while. I took it back the next day with the receipt and was told there's nothing wrong with it. I showed them upon arrival that it wasn't working and they said they fiddled with it and won't replace it. I said that there was a loose connection and asked if they would pick it up if it breaks again as it is expensive to drive up and down. The manager was INCREDIBLY condescending and rude and said absolutely not. They refused to give me my receipt back. The toy is once again broken, and I once again have to drive back there, this time without my receipt. I've spent 10's of thousands of rands there over the past few years, but you will NEVER see me again. The R130 something toy cost you a lot more! Your manager should be trained as her skills are appalling. I will be sure to spread the news on Facebook and encourage all my friends not to support you.
