Limited knowledge on vaccinations

I was very disappointed when I visited the Victory Park Dis-Chem Clinic on Monday the 17th of March. I went there to get a German Measles vaccination as I no longer have the antibodies. I am doing this as I plan on having children and contracting German measles while pregnant presents high risk for the unborn child as this can lead to a miscarriage or your baby could end up with multiple birth defects and developmental problems. The sister who was there knew nothing of this and I had to educate her on why women planning to have children would seek this vaccination if they no longer have the antibodies. The sister could not assist me as she was unfamiliar with giving this vaccination to an adult. I feel very disappointed that someone who administers these vaccinations on a daily basis is not aware of their use and associated risks should someone no longer have the antibodies. I would not consider returning to this clinic as I have little faith in the sister's knowledge and nursing abilities.
