I have made a payment to Woolworths, but neglected to refer to the full account number. Hence it was probably put in a suspense account. I was trying to rectify it by calling their offices and by supplying them with e-mail containing proof of payment and store statement, and stating the full account number. I received proof of mail delivery but no read proof. I received an account today which still did not reflect payment. I called the toll free number and on 2 occasions were advised to again send an e-mail (I do not have fax facilities). The 1st was ignored..why would this now work? I asked to be put in touch with a senior person that will action my request. Call was dropped!! I called again and thankfully got to someone called Leorealle Lawrence who gave me her e-mail address..I sent the info... whilst holding on..she confirmed receipt telephonically... and advised that it was sent to Accounts Dept to apply payment within the next 24 to 48 hours. Within a matter of 5 minutes my issue was resolved. It took the other agents much more time only to frustrate me and to annoy me. Well done to Leorealle!
