Pick 'n Pay
Wrong change

On Sunday 17 March 2013 after church I ran into Pick 'n Pay Mokopane to get 2 items quickly as I had a house full of guests for lunch.
The total amount of R41.99 was due and I gave the cashier Ramadimetj Madiba a R200.00 note. She only gave me R58.10 change and I asked for the outstanding R100.00. She denied that I gave her R200.00 although the man standing behind me confirmed that he saw that I gave her R200.00. I do not know the man, he was an honest, total stranger. The cashier denied the fact and I felt like a criminal. The supervisor "Granny" was called and her whole attitude was that she believed the cashier. I stood there for 15 minutes and asked what is going to happen next? "Granny's" attitude was that they are busy, I will have to wait. They will have to close the till and count the money to establish if I am telling the truth
After another 30 minutes of waiting I told "Granny" that I am in a hurry as I have guests waiting for me. She had a very bad attitude and after some time she went to the office and came back and without any apology pushed the R158.10 in my hand. I wasted an hour of my time and really did not need a bad attitude from an employee.
