I had a problem with my fridge that don't make anything cold in the fridge but the freezer was working. I called the Defy who send a technician to my house. He arrived with no tools and just had a look at the back of the fridge and suggested i send it to the warehouse for pressure testing. That visit of the technician (Frank) cost me R400 A few days later i was called by the manager Ismail to find out what the technician did and i explained my dissatisfaction. The manager would sort everything out and will get back to me. A week or so later two guys rocked up at my house to come and collect the fridge without any prior arrangement. I unpack the meat and other frozen items and had to live out of a cooler box with ice to keep the meat cold. From that moment on it was silence, i had to phone the warehouse 1 or 2 times a week to find out what the status with my fridge was. Weeks later i received a call from the regional manager Mr Veldskoen who informed me that my fridge was unrepairable and that i can pay R1800 to get a new 1.On 2013/02/25 i paid the money and to date has not received my new fridge. I have to buy meat on a daily basis which cost a alot of money and a huge inconvenience. Not good!
