Incredible Connection
Traded in, and now I'm left with nothing

Went in on Saturday about the Trade In, Upgrade & Save promotion, told that any old PC monitor I had I could bring in to be discounted R500 on a 23" monitor. Salesman gave me his card & promised me he would keep one of the 23" LG LED monitors I wanted aside for me to fetch Sunday 23 Feb, when I would bring in my old monitor to qualify for the deal.

Went in the next day, waited about 15 mins for the guy to finish, as he didnt want anyone else helping me. Took 10 mins to sign away my old PC monitor. Then 10 minutes later he came & said there was no stock of the 23" monitor. Convinced me to take a 24" for R500 more expensive (even with the trade in discount, still more expensive than market price).

There was no 24" on display in the store, and on getting home I was very disappointed with its color reproduction. Took the monitor back, and asked for a 23", and the extra R500 i paid in back. 1 supervisor & 2 staff said fine. When I got to the till, they rang up the 23", saying that because the discount promotion was no longer on, I couldn't get my extra R500 back. After 10 mins arguing I asked for total refund, which i got, but could not get my old monitor back, now I have nothing
