On 11 january, I purchased a lounge suite from Rochester Stoneridge. The lounge suite ordered was a 3 seater and a 2 seater couch, of which i took the measurements in store on the day of purchase.
The couches were delivered late, of which the 3 seater which was delivered came with 3 broken legs. I accepted the 2 seater and requested that a non defective 3 seater be delivered. A couple of weeks later, another 3 seater was delivered, however this too had a broken leg, the cherry on top was that i was presented with another 2 seater, instead of a 3 seater couch which i complained about. The service received from Rochester stoneridge was VERY poor. Another 2 weeks passed with no resolution, and at this point I decided to return the purchase. I went to the store to complete a refund form and organised for the collection of the defective goods deliver of feedback. I eventually received a part refund saying i had to be charged for delivery, despite the fact that the incorrect delivery was made. THIS IS UNACCEPTEABLE, the wrong service was provided, please refund, the delivery charge of R 415.00!
