Wrong billing - took forever to sort out

Yesterday, I go to DisChem, to buy a few goods. They sell my favourite 'dry-wors', so I included a few. After I paid I realised that I had been billed for 2x100g instead of 2x30g.

I informed the cashier, who said it's a fault is on the system. She called a manager-A. 5min of waiting later I inform m-A that I have bought movie tickets & the trailers started. M-A called another manager-B.

10min later m-B rocks up. I explain everything (movie started already). He said that DisChem will pay the difference they owe me, but I have to come back later to get the money.

After the movie Dis-Chem would be closed so I would have to drive 30KM the next day to get my refund of R20!!!

I was furious. I informed m-B that at any other store i.e. Pick n Pay and Clicks I would have gotten the product for free. To which m-B replied, "SORRY MAM, THAT IS NOT OUR POLICY."

So Dis-Chem... I glean your policy is:
1. We will take 20minutes to keep our clients waiting for mistakes we have made.
2. We don't care whether they miss appointments or movies they have paid good money for (I waisted R60 on tickets).
3. We don't value the 1.5K monthly income your household brings us.
