CNA
Do you keep your receipts for everything?

Shops, Products, Services

Bought a fancy water bottle at CNA on 8 March 2013 for R99. Only started using it on 11 March 2103 only to find it had a crack and was leaking water. Attempted to exchange but manager insisted on a proof of purchase or receipt. I do not have the receipt anymore, I could not test the water bottle in the store, as far as I know CNA are the only ones selling these bottles. This is not about the R99 wasted but about the principle of having to keep every single receipt for every petty purchase because shop managers are apparantly trained to bluntly refuse any attempt by loyal customers that attempts to exchange something without a receipt. It also seems that managers are not allowed any discretion regarding these exchanges. Just seems a little shortsighted to lose a customer because of a R99 exchange dispute.
