I recently bought a couch at Rochester. I waited just about a month for the couch and during that waiting period Darren the salesman at the time kept on calling me to ensure that all monies due are paid before delivery date. When the couches were finally delivered I was unfortunately not at home. To my surprised when I got home one couch incliner was faulty. I therefore contacted Rochester the very next week to inform them about the fault. He promised to send someone to come and have a look at the couch but that never materialised till this day. Its been about 4 to 5 weeks now. I then tried again to contact and I was told that Darren is now a Customer Relations Manager. I then called him directly on his phone expecting first class customer care but instead all I got was another empty promise. I then called Rochester again and spoke the guy by the name of Malema, he also made an empty promise and never called back till this day. I put full amount for my couches and expect my money's worth. I amost bought more staff from Rochester and now I dont regret holding back. Empty promises especially to clients not customers is damaging the reputation of this company. I will contact ombudman
