I want my R200 difference back-simple!

My husband bought me a thick red winter coat from Ackermans Northgate for R379, 95-not a hundred percent sure of the exact date and which man keeps slips? I wanted to exchange the coat for something else, since Fourways mall is closer, I went there. I got some other things to exchange but when I got to the till, the cashier Lebo told me the coat has now been marked down to R179. I told Lebo that I am not losing out on R200 when all I wanted to do was exchange to the same value. The "store manager" Gloria came and said that the coat has been marked down for almost a year. The tag on the coat had the original tag on and there was no mark down. My husband and I tried to explain to Gloria that she wasn't listening to what we were saying, she just kept arguing the fact of the mark down. She shouldn't be in management if she can't even handle a simple transaction! I didn't want my money back, just a simple exchange to the same value. The fact is that Gloria wouldn't budge and was very rude. I got robbed of my R200 difference. I would love to talk to someone who is trained to deal with situations like this, not an employee who's position went to her head.
