Not willing to Sell a Shop floor Sample

Hi, I went into the Trade Route Mall Store this past weekend to Buy a Swing for the outside garden Area. the Swing Cost R2799. when Billy Had looked for stock they only had 1 item and that was the shop floor item. when i had requested to buy the item as is I was told that according to the House and Home Policy that he cannot sell this to me. Now this Policy does go against the consumer protection act. When i had demanded to see the Manager I was told that he was sent to hospital as he was sick. I felt like I was being given the run around as they were unwilling to assist. i was then told to go to Edenvale to buy it as they were unwilling to get it to their store and delivery as it takes too long to transport it.

I honestly feel real bad by the blatant act of not willing to help a customer. I promised my mother that swing as a gift and this was very upsetting when i had to tell her that it was not for sale.

I cannot believe that as a company they do not want to sell and item that's on the floor. Guess we should not buy House and Home Product as they do not need to sell goods.
