I bought a Samsung LCD TV just less than 2 years ago at Game Bay-side on the opening of the store. i was informed that the TV holds a 2year guarantee by the sales person. i held on to the semi faded slip for all this time and 2 weeks ago the supposed newest tv of my 4lcd just dies and has no power. checking my slip i am over the moon to see there is still a month and a bit left of my guarantee. i pack up the tv mission to Game KC to be told i need to take it to bayside as this tv only has a 1year guarantee? i argue and am told they will send it to the supplier. i get no response and today i get a sms. Game KC notifies me i have declined a R1200 repair cost. and i have had no contact. i refuse to pay as i was told its 2years and they say i bought in 24 mar 11 an the 2 years came in june 11. i know i was told it has 2years. why would i hold on to my slip and why would i purchase a 1 year TV if there was 2year TVs. i wont buy this brand again and i thought this was the no 1 brand! i have an LG 42" that i have had for 4years, a sharp 32" for 3years and a Hi Sense 42" i had for 5years and all these TV gave me no problems and running like a dream. the sales ppl just wanna seal the sale
