GAME to me and won't accept responsibility

On 11 May 2012 I purchased a SONY BRAVIA 40 inch LEDTV from GAME PAROW CENTRE.
The sales-person confirmed that all the televisions at GAME came with a 2 year warranty.
On 28 May 2013, 1 year and 17 days, later the TV packed up.
I returned it to the store and to my astonishment and disgust was told this specific model only had a 1 year warranty. I spoke with Muzi Mthethwa, the sales manager, and he said SONY had changed it to 2 years, I need not worry.
Well, the repair slip showed 'Under guarantee: YES', so why would I worry.
It also says and I quote: "We will have any item under supplier warranty repaired for you. Should it take more than 21 days, the item will be replaced or refunded."
So on day 22, 19 June 2013, I go into store to collect my TV, replacement or refund. But NO, I get told the TV is out of warranty and they are waiting on the supplier to repair it, but GAME will cover the repair costs. They will apparently only get the part/s on Monday 24 June 2013. So what happened to the 21 day policy and me being told the item had a 2 year warranty. GAME blatantly to me at that time to get a sale and now they do not want to honour any policies. I am hugely disappointed.
