Poor Service and non-repair of guaranteed product

I bought a SAMSUNG LED TV from Gamestores on credit and some months later, the TV unfortunately lost some picture quality and displayed a blank top half of the screen. I sent the TV back to GAME only to realise that I had lost the purchase slip. From my understanding was that since I am purchased the TV on credit, the store should have documented records of the purchase and should be able to fix my damaged TV as per the guarantee promise that the store seems to preach. When I sent the TV to them, no one in the store including the Store Manager can track the transaction. In fact noone even has proof that the TV left the store. Does that mean I am now mysteriously paying back credit for a TV that never left the store? The television is currently not in use as it was not fixed by the store. When you have credit records of your account and are currently paying back for purchases made on the account, that means you purchased the TV set from game and they should guarantee your repairs if its within guarantee. The service i got was terrible and unprofessional, I have a faulty TV set, I cancelled my credit and I cant wait to pay off my settlement and cut all ties with GAME.
