Deliberate attempt to sell inferior product

The sales representative sold me a specific high quality product (after showing me and my builder the samples) and then attempted to supply an inferior product for the originally agreed price. Despite initially offering to refund the deposit I had paid, the company then refused to refund 50% of the money paid as a deposit. This was when no product was loaded or delivered. Only weeks later, and after much fighting was most of the money refunded. From the sales assistant up, there was an obvious attempt to withhold the my money for as long as possible with no good reason. Not what one would expect from a company purporting to provide a high quality product and service.
