Breach of CPA/ False Advertising

I was induced into contracting to purchase a Defy 315L fridge from Hifi as their advert on the period 22-25 Aug 2013 was a Defy fridge with a gross capacity of 315L and a net capacity of 294L, but the actual product sold was a inferior product of a gross capacity of 294L and a net capacity of 266L, a total difference compared to the advert of 49L in capacity. I would not have brought the defy fridge if it was advertised for the actual specifications at Hifi. There was X fridge elsewhere with a net capacity of less than 294L, but more than 266L that I would have brought.

I had queried this matter several times from 21.9.2013 after I had noticed the difference in usage & capacity. Hifi is at breach of false advertising of the product thus I queried for a refund for the inferior product in terms of CPA, but Hifi denied the breach of CPA & refund. The product was purchased on 24.8.2013, within 6 months of implied warranty of quality (CPA), Hifi is obliged to refund for the inferior quality of good. Gavin, the store manger firmly replies that the product supplied is correct and that HIfi is not at any fault.
