I purchased a hp compac laptop on the 24th april 2013, first issue it gave me was a 'DOS' problem, then they fixed that after that its hard drive gave issues and they replaced that then it started saying it has a memory issue so they fixed that now it has a disk error message which only appears once in a while. i asked them for a new laptop and they said they cant replace it, im still in my year warranty AND a paid for a extended 5 year warranty which cost me R524 stating that i will have "peace of mind" which im sorry i dont have!! i aksed for the manager and i told him im not happy as the laptop isnt even a year old and its giving issues he then tells me they dont cover software, i looked through the warranty and it doesnt state there they dont cover soft ware! he then said hel be making a los if he gives me a new laptop, and i told him well im making a loss as i use my laptop every day for my business, i told him il get my lawyer involved and all he said was "do it" with a no care additude!! i fell i want a new laptop im still in my first year guarentee and i have a 5 year warranty!!!
