WONT SUPPLY PROOF OF SALE DOCUMENTS

In May/June 2007 my car (2006 Audi A3 TMP 308GP, engine no BVZ001411) was auctioned off by Hyper Car on behalf of MFC. I have had a number of issues with Nedbank /MFC regarding this issue and requested from them that they provide me with valid proof in the form of a deposit slip or bank statement proving the amount they claim was true and correct. Monique Britz form Nedbank sent me an email that they have requested this from the supplier, on Friday 15 February 2013 Monique emailed me say that despite several requests HYPER CAR had not provided the documents. Why Hyper Car would refuse to supply these I dont understand, I am aware that the sale was five years ago, surely a business would keep records in case of an SARS audit?
